Cartoons making me sad....

Hubby and I decided to watch one of our Netflix tonight, Shrek III. I was ready for a light hearted cartoon with a bit of comedy and a silly donkey to get my mind off of things. Well instead, just my luck, 20 minutes into the film, Fiona announces she is pregnant to Shrek. I went to go read a magazine and go to bed instead of watching the film. Not in the mood to hear it tonight, even if it is a cartoon about ogres.

yup, that's why I skipped Shrek 3, because I knew I'd cry at a cartoon. Sorry it snuck up on you

Here I am said...

Hi- Thanks so much for your comment on my blog entry. I am so sorry for your losses, as I too have been there. All I can say is don't lose hope. In the meantime stay strong and be good to yourself. Also regarding your other entry- I charted my temps at first but it was so confusing, my obgyn told me I didn't have to do that and ovulations sticks are best. I used the digital ones because they were easy to read and just spent the $$$. But I do think ovulation sticks are easiest in tracking. Anyway--good luck and I'll be checking in...

Yes, sorry that snuck up on you. I have to admit, I think I am the only person in the US who didn't think Shrek was that funny. I'll definitely skip #3. The * or other symbols that people put into certain words on their blog posts are usually words that are searchable with google or something. That way if some puts in the name of a drug, my blog doesn't pop up with having that drug mentioned in it.

Yeah, why did they have to go a eff the Shrek series up with a pregnancy. so so sorry.

Regarding OPKs, I used to be a BBT chart and OPK addict and then I switched to the Clear Blue Easy Fertility Monitor and my life changed. Seriously changed for the better. No more scutinizing blue lines. No more throwing the thermometer across the room when it didn't give me the data I wanted. They (CBEFM) are spendy but worth every penny in my opinion.

Miscarriage #2 corresponded with the release of "Knocked Up." I didn't even need to see the movie to be depressed; the posters were enough.

Healthy (or unwanted) pregnancies are a major Hollywood plot device. Jerks.
