So I am heading to the library today, with the 10 month old twins since I am at work. Yep, I will take them out of my car which has had two car seats in it since December, put them in the double stroller and have many people think they are mine instead of knowing the truth - that I am at work, they are not mine... mine was sucked out of me on Friday.....it is sick and I am kind of over this job.
Anyways- on to my list of books I am getting.
1. The Four Agreements - For some reason I have not read this yet and it has been mentioned around me or directly to me a lot this past week. I am in grad school and have a huge paper due next Monday...what a wonderful procrastination tool.
2. Coming to Term - A blogging buddy recommended this to me and I checked it out online. It may shed some light onto my recurrent pregnancy losses which I like to rename as a really shitty 2007. Honestly though, I have been given so many avenues to try (drink some nasty raspberry, nettle shit....etc.) and I need to use my research, analytical and planning personality right now.....so I feel more armed and ready to tackle the options the RE will have for me.
3. The Complete Organic Pregnancy - Not sure about this one but I have heard a lot about and it may be just what I need to take more control of my environmental factors. For some reason I cannot get away from thinking there are MANY things I can do around me to help me feel in more control of the health of my baby next time. For example, no more Nalgene bottles. My rainbow assortment went away this weekend. I think each day I get more and more nutty about things around me. I have done the switch to all organic meats and dairy but I am leaning more towards looking in my cleaning supplies, etc now too. I am hooked.....mainly because I think if there is a more natural, unprocessed, less toxic option for me out there...I must switch.
Absolutely anything even remotely related to miscarriages is out of my house.

You'll have to post what you think about the organic pregnancy book. I know I also read that the Nalgene bottles were bad and have ditched mine collection of them also. I also try not to microwave in plastic but that's harder lately since all my glass cookware is at home.
Ditto on the organic pregnancy book. You'll have to give a review. I switched to all natural cleaning products about a year ago (Method brand at T*arg*t) and baking soda and our bathroom has never been cleaner or smelled better.
Thanks for stopping by my blog and I am sorry I didn't give you the heads up re: my recent condition. I realized after the fact that I probably should have given your recent experience.
And having to nanny 2 babies during this time? Sister, you must have nerves of steel!
funny you should mention the Organic Pregnancy book- I just saw it and considered buying it! I'm going as Organic as I can....fruit, veggies, milk, meat- And target has a great line called "method' that has naturally derived ingredients for all your cleaning needs. from detergent to dishsoap, to all of our misc. cleaning sprays- even our body wash is all natural! Deodorant is where I draw the line, though. Doesn't seem to work for me. GL in your natural endeavors~!
