Monday Business and Tagged....

So I have decided this whole blog thing is exactly what I needed. To be honest with you, before now I thought committed bloggers were people lacking social skills, failing to talk to real people.....living a life in anonymity and "antisocializing-ness" (my own Bushism) via their cyber-buddies. But I am finding this such a comfortable place for me...a chance to see how you all are doing, pass on encouraging words and just to have this community is very healing for me right now. Sometimes I wish we all lived in my city or actually yours (Portlanders...I am a bit jealous)so we could all meet up for a Monday morning coffee.

I have decided the guy at Whole Foods was a blithering idiot and there are no cold embryos in the carton of fertilized eggs, after talking with my specialist at the house (Dr. Google) and getting some great comments from you guys, I am convinced the eggs are still weird and gross but not the nightmare I imagined.

Pathology/Chromosome Testing- I did not have the first baby tested, the docs told me this was a fluke m/c and nothing really would come to play with the results. I took the idea that it was a case of bad luck and I did not have any test done - something I am kicking myself for now...oh well. I am not sure what they are testing on baby #2 or if it is a full karyotyping, I just gave them the tupperware and told them to test it. Should I have told them specifically what to do??? I just realized the results may indicate the gender.....fuck.

I was tagged by this gal so after figuring out what the hell that meant - here it goes:

Four jobs I have had in my life: I worked at Disney World for a summer in college (that place is nuts), Waitress, Kids Camp Director, Marketing Project Manager.

Four Movies I have watched more than once: Love Actually, Shag, Office Space and Napoleon Dynamite.

Four TV shows that I watch faithfully: Grey's Anatomy, Lost, the Office, anything on HGTV - I am addicted to watching people flip houses.

Four Places I have vacationed: Tahiti/Bora Bora, Oahu, Napa Valley, Vancouver/Whistler.

Four of my favorite foods: Tough one. I love food. I love sushi, anything Italian and covered with cheese, fajitas and banana pancakes.

Four places I would rather be right now: Not nannying 10 month olds, hiking with my two labs, in the mountains, at the beach.

Four hobbies I have: drinking red wine, hiking, making to-do lists for absolutely everything I do, have done and need to do, and painting (although the creative juices have been gone for a while).

Glad you got the "fertilized" eggs figured out! EWWW, again!

I'm such a blathering idiot, not to EXPLAIN what being tagged meant. Thank you for putting up with my craziness. I know you're new to a blog and I wanted to tag you specifically to get to know you...

I love watching Flip that House too, but only watch it incidentally (as in, no plans for the night when we just end up on the couch). It's so cool, though, and I wish I could do it!

Mmmm, sushi! And hiking - I forgot how much J and I like hiking/camping. :)

Thanks for responding to the tag!

I love reading these things and getting to "know" people a little.

I can't stand sushi, but I do love hiking and camping.

Ooh, I wanted to do that Disney World thing really bad when I was in college however what threw me was the idea of sharing an apartment with a bunch of teenagers, early 20 somethings as I was like 32 or something at the time.
