Got the LH surge today. Well yesterday is questionably darker too. Not that I am even remotely close to trying to get pregnant right now, but this feels productive in a way. I am really just in charting mode until I see my doc.
Now, so I can compare my way to all of you....when you see the LH surge on the OPK, do you automatically assume you ovulate the next day? So for me, do I assume I will ovulate tomorrow? My OPK says I will ovulate 24-48 hours after the surge and I always POAS at 2pm. So I usually call the day after the surge my ovulation day.
So now you all know that at roughly 2pm MST most days of the month, I am pissing on a stick.

I think when you surge you'll ovulate within the next 36 hours or something like that. I always charted and used that with the cbefm monitor...so I'm not sure about opks

I think your theory on opk's and ovulating are similiar to mine - so i would agree with you. hahahaa i am laughing at knowig you pee on opk's at 2mst!! GRATS on a positive opk!
It varies with everyone but sometime in the next 24-48 hours. I always assumed (when not temping which made me crazy anyway) that it was about 24 hours but have sinced figured out it may be closer to 36 for me.
I think everyone is different...I'm a lucky one that gets a sneak preview faint line before but I usually continue taking them each day and continue with the love fest until my line goes away...just to be safe :) Congrats on your surge! :)
Congrats on your positive pee stick...2 pm that's funny. I'll probably always think of you now when I look at the clock and it's 2:00. Maybe we should all start peeing on our sticks at the same time and see if this gives us all better results. They say there is strength in numbers!
Yay for positive surges! I always second guess myself with OPK's.
