I am looking forward to the time when my milestones are fun, full of hope and forward in movement.
We got our second pregnancy positive one year ago this weekend. It felt and smelled the exact same as it does this weekend. This one is hard to look back onto because I had this amazing level of optimism that we would have a baby in late June. With my doctors and inner voice telling me the first miscarriage was behind us and the chances of losing this baby were so slim....I was in complete bliss through the month of October.
I will not go into this a third time with the same level of positivity. But I will go into this journey again. Not sure where we will end up but I feel ready (especially with a tweaked diet, extra B6, low-dose aspirin, Progesterone and Parlodel in my bag of tricks this time). To find a better way of experiencing this last weekend in September, we went on a drive into the mountains to see the glowing aspens. We do a drive like this each year and we will do another annual fall foliage drive next year. Hopefully along with a fat healthy baby and a SLR camera.

What a wonderful way to welcome Fall. I understand your feelings. I was so positive when I had my second too. After that it was pure negativity. Just keep your eye on the prize...and before long you'll be on your way.

im so sorry to read about your miscarriages. i think infertility is the most painful thing ever. i cant imagine how hard that must be. keep your head up!

The week before last I woke up to a chilly breeze blowing in the window and all of a sudden I was like "It's fall!" Something about the temperature and the smell, it just hit me! I love the changing seasons so much!
