Back

We drove to Connecticut this weekend. We were in the car for 30 hours and in CT for 45 hours, then back in the car immediately following the funeral for another 30 hours. I waddled and stretched at dozens of truck stops, and endured the stares and worries of many people, I am sure all wondering if I were laboring off the interstate.

The wake and funeral were very painful and Sprout endured a tough few days inside Mama. I am back and slowly trying to feel normal again. My ankles have swollen a bit and my belly has expanded quite a bit as well. I am just trying to relax and rehydrate because the drive was really taxing on us. Sprout is kicking and seems happy we are finally home.

I am catching up and really looking forward to getting back to speed, in life and on here.

Welcome home. Here's to resting and hoping that the next few days find you better physically and mentally.

I'm glad you're back! Take care of yourself (and Sprout!) and get some rest. I know it was a tough weekend.

You're an amazing woman to do that this late in your pregnancy. I am glad sprout took it so well... Rest up so you can build your energy up again!
