I promise to get to the list of questions I brought to my doctor about my septum very soon. I will have my first of two Lupron injections next week and surgery is April 30th.
Now that I am on hold for a few months, I have decided to recharge. I am not sure why, when I was trying to get and stay pregnant, I became less creative, gained 20lbs. and somehow managed to feel more stressed in a very calming graduate program. We will not be trying to get pregnant again for about 6 months, probably in September we'll think about it again. Here is my current to do list, although I am not holding myself to completing every one of them:
1. Get my arse back to Weight Watchers to shed this awful padding ;). I lost 60lbs about 4 years ago and gained 30 back since 2006 (20 of that in the last year).
2. Hike much more this summer. I was either pregnant, miscarrying or recovering from surgery the entire summer of 2007 so I plan to get out there a ton. There are MANY hikes I have on my list.
3. Take a painting class. I was voted most artistic in high school and I have not really picked up a paint brush since. I need to get back into this amazing outlet for me.
4. Read more books. I plan on only taking one class this summer to take it easy. I have been in 3 classes each semester and it has been draining to say the least.
5. Get our finances in order. We have finally paid off all credit card debt, yay! Now we are going to develop a real budget and actually save money for once. After a huge fight this week about money, it is time.
I am really looking forward to this break from all things pregnant. I will still be around her posting and supporting, although I may visit and support more than report my time off happenings ;)

I think this is a wonderful list. I heart lists!
I am so glad you are not putting your life "on hold" as you work through this. Please post about your hikes - pics, too.
Good luck w/ the weightloss. I've got a bit to lose myself. Its so hard to stay positive and motivated these days though. And its so beauitful here with so much hiking. I really need to take advantage of it.
I wonder if the ColoBloggers would be up for a hike this summer?
(BTW, I can't imagine that you have 30 extra pounds on you.)
Enjoy this weather!
Denver
yeah i got the green light but he as much said don't get your hopes up.
I'm doing 1 and 5. In fact, I just joined WW online. Want to be my WW partner???
That's awesome...I'm a list girl myself!
I admire your drive to get back to life as it existed before IF. I have always had such a difficult time finding myself that way...
Enjoy the hikes! I joined WW last week and lost 4.6 pounds this week.
Good job getting things back in order.
Good list of goals, Meg.
I'm definitely up for hiking if we do that as a ColoBlogger outing or otherwise. I need ideas for good hikes and it gets tiring trying to drag DH out all the time.
Just sending you an FYI - there's a yahoo group that might be of interest to you if you have a septum. You'll find lot's of support and info. Best of luck with your surgery.

I'm very impressed with your list, my list is buried in my office beneath all my tax crap and bills and everything else!
Good luck!
Best of luck with your list - I hope that you achieve all you set out to do, and that this time away from TTC enables you to take stock and gather your strength.
Drop me an e-mail sometime.
Oy! That list sounds so familiar! I just rejoined WW too and am excited for all the things we should get done this spring/summer.
Good luck hun :)
