- My luteal phase better keep going. I am only 7dpo and I am successfully hiding from any early cramping or spotting.
- We are having a big party on Sunday and have many little toddlers coming to the house. I have no toys or toddler things. I bought two big balls and am setting up our camping tent in the backyard. Hope I pass their fun test.
- I tried making fancy cupcakes for the party and tested my Magnolia's Buttercream frosting recipe. Came out horribly. So buttery and not stiff at all. Anyone have a good recipe? Will make cookies instead.
- Start my internship next week and begin seeing clients as well. So so scared.
- Went out to lunch with friend from school last week and she is 8 weeks pregnant. She is very excited and already bought a pair of $160 maternity jeans. What the hell is wrong with this woman? I was trying to not be a rain cloud at lunch and I think I did a good job. Yay me.

Sorry about the weirdness with the friend. Those situations are so hard. You should be very proud for handling it so well - it's hard not to scream at women like that, "What are you thinking???"

oh..and your friend is crazy. The jeans that she just bought aren't even going to fit her if she makes it to the end of a pregnancy. That's WAY too much to spend on maternity clothes
$160???? Nevermind the gall of buying any maternity clothes at 8 weeks. Who spends that much on one item of maternity clothes? Good job at keeping your cool at lunch. Looking forward to hearing how the start of your internship and seeing clients goes next week!

8 weeks? Are you kidding me. Ah to be innocent again. You wouldn't catch me telling anyone at 8 weeks. My RE is lucky he even knows at this point.
