5:00 am and I have been up for an hour with cramping and red blood. The only thing keeping me from crumbling is I hear Sprout's heart beating away (I think around 144, not so good at checking). I am waiting until 8am for urgent care to open. I can handle being home for 3 more hours on the couch since I think it appears to be tapering off but what the hell....here are my thoughts.
It could be the fact that I am very uncomfortably constipated. The apple juice and grapes are not doing the trick.
I stopped Progesterone on Tuesday and have had light spotting since Thursday morning. Maybe this could be it?
I suspect a bit of the cramping is round ligament pain- I have a dull cramp/ache on both sides of my lower pelvis.
Could be a fibroid. Need someone to check this out.
I am headed to urgent care to demand a look and check on everything in there so hopefully I will be back with news that all is well.

Thinking of you!
Oh hun. Thinking of you and that precious little one. I'll be praying. *hugs*
crap! I hope it's nothing. Update us soon.
shit shit shit. You are likely at urgent care as I type this. I desperately hope there is someone there who is kind and wise and can help figure out what the hell is going on. And of course, as always I am hoping and praying for little Sprout - but I am so glad you can hear his/her heartbeat. That is so reassuring. I want so much for you to be able to rest and enjoy being pregnant - I want you to have a competent caring and compassionate Dr. who will do whatever it takes to help that to happen. You are in my thoughts, my heart and my prayers. Please keep me posted!
I am praying for you. Update us soon!
Hoping that everything is ok. Pregnancy is so damn scary, I just wish it wasn't.
And love the picture of the twins' feet!
Definitely get that fibroid checked out. Fibroids can grow during pregnancy with all the hormones, and they may be causing the bleeding. I know of women who went through pregnancy with a fibroid just fine. What did you find out about the fibroid after your first ultrasound?
If you are constipated, you can do an enema in the short term. Magnesium supplements can help you from being constipated, plus we can all use more magnesium. If you are taking a pre-natal vitamin with calcium, the calcium can make you constipated. Iron can also make you constipated. Taking more magnesium will help. I take magnesium citrate supplements.
I'll be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers today!
Maybe they can put you back on progesterone for a spell?
I know a lot of women have first tri bleeding. Sometimes it's a partial abruption. Other times it's nothing.
I hope they can send you over to Obstetrix for a peek. They seem to have the best equipment and can more readily identify whether the placenta is adequately attached.
Damnit, Meg, I want this for you.
please update asap. you're in my prayers!!
Hope you are all doing okay and this is just another blip on the radar.
I've been taking Colace and Benefiber for constipation my entire pregnancy and it has been a lifesaver.
Thinking about you and Sprout. Update us when you can.
I'm sorry! Please update. In the meantime, you will be in my prayers.
Thinking of you - I hope that everything checked out OK at urgent care and you are just resting now. Keeping positive thoughts for you and sprout.
