Finn is sick for the first time and it is a doozy. He had a high fever Friday into Saturday so off to urgent care we went. We spent most of Saturday there - mostly cuddling and chatting while waiting for procedures. Poor kiddo endured a rectal temp, catheter, bloodwork and a chest xray which pointed to pneumonia. He is on a strong antibiotic and slooowly coming around. I tell you, when your baby is sick - the world just stops.

I've had pneumonia and it's SO not fun. I can't imagine how it would be for a baby! Hope Finn feel better really soon!
S had the same thing, and had to endure a cath as well as that awful apparatus they use to get chest x-rays on kids. I cried through both procedures. It was awful.
When I took his temp and the thermometer said "105" I felt my heart stop and the world screech to a halt.
I hope the little guy gets better soon!
