As expected, whenever I am feeling a little nutty about something or need to feel more in control...I buy a book. I bought this book to help with some of my thoughts and fears. If you have read it, let me know what you think. So far, it has been helpful. I read an entire chapter on how the medical community just fails miserably at separating the loss from their day to day patients. I am convinced all OB and RE offices need a therapist around once a week to help "humanize" the patients for the docs and nurses.

I do the same thing, buying books when I feel like I need answers or some sense of control. I also bought this book and the one on Trying Again. (Haven't gotten very far with them, but they sit on my nightstand making excellent coasters for my bottled water.)
I'd be interested to hear your other thoughts are on the book. I agree that OB offices definitely need someone around to help them relate -- though my RE was wonderful before and after our loss (wish *he* could be our OB).
Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
I meant to say that I wish he could be our OB if we actually ever got pregnant again.
Haven't read it but wish I had during the terror that was my first trimester.
I feel that OBs are good for one thing: catching babies. Anything else, they suck. When it comes to loss and m/c, they have no clue.
I haven't read it, but let me know what you think. If I manage to get pregnant again, I could use some help/direction.
