Overall what I expected- I met with my doc and he did an ultrasound and we discussed the risks to the surgery. I will go at 9am on 4/30 for a 10am surgery and hopefully be home in a daze by the afternoon.
Only thing I am not looking forward to is a 2am wake-up to soak my least favorite medication in water and shove it up my hoohah. If it will help reduce the chances of an incompetent cervix, I will do it but man I hate this shit for many reasons.
I should expect to have my period roughly 6-8 weeks after my last Lupron (April 4) and then I will just begin tracking for several months and then....deep breath...try again.

Is it sad that I have 4/30 marked in my head for *your* surgery? I am so excited (except for the fun med... gross) for you to be so close now.

My most sincere hope is that your waiting and patience with all of this is completely worth it and you get the outcome you are looking for (and deserve!).
You are so brave. I have my fingers crossed that the surgery goes smoothly; your recovery time goes quickly and that you maintain your courage to try again. I know you have the strength to weather this.
