The Positives

Down 1.6 at WW weigh-in tonight. I will take any loss with a big smile.

The backyard is finished and I just want to lay down and roll in the green plush lawn! Lots of gardening ahead of me this summer. I will post some pics soon. I am just so proud of our lawn child.

Only one more paper to finish that is due Thursday, woohoo! This semester was so tough but I can actually see the end.

Pre-op appointment is Thursday and surgery is next week. So glad this is almost here. I have been so busy with school that I have been really distracted. I expect I will have a freak-out post next week.

We did all of our potting this past weekend. I loved it! Spring is so rejuvenating. We need to have the back yard sodded...we have too much shade, so it's hard to keep the grass growing. One thng at a time, though.

I'll be checking in on you and hope all goes well.

I definetly need pictures! We planted all our seeds for our veggie and fruit garden last night... It was an accomplishment. Or something...

Best of luck on the surgery next week!

Yay for the weight loss! You know, I still use my WW cookbooks more than most others? They have great recipes! I esp love the "Everyone Loves Chicken" one and the "Stir it Up!" one.

Yay for the yard baby!!! We are slowly bringing our yard together, we planted some more vines and a couple raspberry bushes this last weekend and I put flowers in our pots out front. I also have a xeriscaped area that needs some massive TLC this summer.

Yay for school almost being done. Breathe. Breathe. It will be over soon!!!

And....yay! for your surgery almost being here!!!! I know surgery is never fun, but I am so hopeful about this for you. Let me know if you need a buddy during recovery - I will bring you snacks and gossip magazines!

Green plush lawn sounds perfect! So glad you are almost done with this semester and that the surgery is finally close. Can't wait for you to get past this next hurdle!

Sounds like some good news all around. It'll be so nice to hand in that last paper... and even better when the surgery is finally behind you.

I've been doing some gardening as well, and I've always found it to be quite relaxing. I planted a bunch of lilies last year and was so happy to see them popping back up out of the soil.
