I am already a poor graduate student (who should be writing a paper right now) but I have discovered what will further break my bank.
Starbucks - So I have been out of coffee filters for over a week now and I have made far too many unnecessary trips to Fourbucks this week. Instead of going one block to the market to buy filters so I could make MANY affordable cups of coffee, why must I drive my car a few blocks further to purchase a cardboard cup of coffee for $3 from a big corporate coffee shop? I even went into the Fourbucks inside the grocery store once but did I buy filters? Nope. I have so much guilt! Not to mention once this week I brought in my laptop assuming they have wi-fi but noooooo, for $6 I could hook up to T-Mobile. Being sucked into consuming, I did it. Why didn't I just get in my car that morning, buy coffee filters, go home and make a kick ass pot of free coffee and use my wireless? That I will never know.....
Amazon - "New Music: One Click" is what they say and I have been buying MP3 albums like it is nobody's business. DRM-free music downloaded right to my music folder. Genius I tell you. Amazon no longer has me click 'confirm' for payment either, they just suck the money instantly out of my account info which is conveniently stored already. Grrrr. I need to stop.
No more Fourbucks, no more music until next month and I must get to the gym 4 times this week. I hope this will hold me accountable.

Laughing very hard. And relating very much. Just saying.
It's never the big extravagant purchases that do me in, it's the steady trickle of money flowing out on the "little things"....usually they are "comfort" purchases but often simply convenient purchases. Ack!
This has to be one of the best post titles (and images) ever.
I say ditch the gym membership so you can buy more Fourbucks.
No kidding, I was thinking the same thing when I paid almost $5 for organic eggs last night at the grocery store. Ugh.
I go through phases I think.
Best of luck.
okay - "fourbucks". Just making sure it's because everytime you go there, it costs $4.
mmmm.. coffee.
~great~ to see you!!! smooches.
Forgot to mention, I wanted to apologize for not paying you back for the cup of smoothie. I appreciated you gave me the extra and I meant to reciprocate and I didn't. Lame of me! So thank you!
Yeah...I've fallen prey to venti raspberry latte's. yum yum yum. There's a fourbucks in my office building so the temptation is *always* present.
